Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing care and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
Duties:
- Assisting Clients: work directly with clients who have mental illnesses. Assist in various aspects of their care, including emotional support, coping strategies, and daily living skills.
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans
- Implementing behavioral interventions and advocacy
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
-Work in various settings, including in-home, office, or educational environments.
-Serve as primary coordinator of behavioral health services and linkage to community resources
Skills:
- Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
No degree is required. Must have at least 3 years in the mental health field.
